Hardwicks is an Australian, family-owned company, started in 1973 by Gary and
Vicki Hardwick with an aim to provide a premium quality product with
sincere and satisfying service. In 1979 the business was relocated
to Kyneton in central Victoria.
Gary Hardwick
is a prominent figure within the meat industry and makes a strong
contribution through many organisations. He is currently Vice Chairman
of the Australian Meat Processsor Corporation (AMPC) of Australia, which represents
meat retailers and processors nationally.
Hardwicks works closely with producers and their clients to provide constructive
feed back on stock and meat product. They see the emergence of paddock
sales, over-the-hook, computer-aided marketing and the National
Livestock Identification Scheme as a way of maintaining a competitive
edge and moving the meat industry soundly forward into the next
century.
